Wellington 21st March
Wellington put on a stunning day with calm waters. After much discussion we decided to run our small props as it was a coarse with short legs and 180 deg corners.
The flag dropped and we were off getting out in front at the start, it turned out this was going to be hard to keep as we had the acceleration from the corners but couldn’t seem to get the top end we have with theses props so Rayglass picked us up and the end of each straight again. We never really got any more the 5 seconds apart.
Last lap and we were side by side when our port engine died. &*^%$@!^*#+
Turned out the main lead from the ECU had come unclipped.
