Whitianga 4th April
The Whitianga Festival of speed has become the weekend for petrol heads from far and wide with planes, cars, bikes etc etc
A 2 plus meter swell was running in the bay, this was going to be a tough one. We took the lead from the start having the daylights beaten out of us for 2 laps we felt a horrible vibration and decided to pull out.
Turned out to be stretched engine bolts !!!!!!!!!! lucky we stopped or we may have come back minus and engine.
